I would like to share my experience, as 36 year-old trans-gender woman, who had undergone FFS, with extensive cranial-facial plastic surgery, as well as breast augmentation. I had the following done just 6 weeks ago: hairline advancement, forehead reconstruction, brow lift, septoplasty, rhinoplasty, submalar cheek implants, lip lift, breast aug., and sliding genioplasty. The surgery was performed in NYC. The doctor did an unreal job. I look fab! During my initial consultation, it was explained to me, that I would be required to have, at minimum, 12 hrs. of post surgical care, by a trained nurse. So on the second night a new nurse came to look after me. What can I say about the second nurse, she was another version of the first nurse Such an understanding woman who looked after me as one of her own family member. She ensured that I had plenty of water and juice to drink, that I was eating whatever I could eat, my medication was taken on time, she was checking my temperature regularly and blood pressure etc. Both nurses even went to do my food shopping at the local grocery store and even to get me a bra as remember I had breast augmentation. Next day the second nurse went back to the clinic with me to get my stitches cleaned and brought me back to the hotel. I met the first nurse again after a week or so, and she helped me have a shower, cleaned my stitches and we both went out for a lovely evening walk a couple of times. Then for at least a few days you spent time on the phone getting to know me and setting me up with nurses you felt would be right for me. They were both wonderful and so pleasant! Once I spoke with you my mind was at ease. My family, who couldn’t be there to help me, was just as pleased. The list continues as after my surgery you still followed up and gave me some Nurse advice as to how best to sleep with my surgical recovery. Again, I so appreciate your time and attention to detail.

After finding myself with my daughter in the Emergency Room on New Year’s Eve weekend, I was at a loss on how to contact anyone to help with aftercare. Literally every medical practice and doctor that we had seen had left NYC for the holiday weekend. We were sleep deprived, my daughter was in pain and we were both extremely anxious and wiped out. I found Jill Tucker Nursing online on Saturday New Year’s Day. She immediately asked in detail what was going on, what we would need and sent the perfect fit for us. That afternoon a registered nurse showed up to spend the next two nights helping to care for my daughter and giving us both some relief and much needed sleep. Without her expert care and advice we probably would have fallen completely apart before Monday when we could get to Dr appointment. Literal life savers here. We highly recommend Jill and her team.

I found myself, last minute, without someone to pick me up after out patient surgery. I called Jill and she assured me this was something not to worry about, that she could help me. I highly recommend Jill Tucker Nursing Services and am very happy with the care provided by Jill and the registered nurse assigned to our family. In my initial search for nursing care, I was anxious that I would have trouble finding what we were looking for–a registered nurse skilled in post-operative care to care for a senior family member with advanced dementia who was undergoing extensive out-patient surgery with a potentially difficult recovery at home. I needn’t have been so worried as Jill had it all covered and helped to make a stressful situation very manageable. I feel so grateful to have found Jill and her nursing service. It was very comforting talking with Jill as she understands all aspects of care and expertly manages the planning, is very thorough, accommodating, has lots of experience and she gives a very high level of attention to her clients. Jill gives you a very good idea of what to expect and how things work (e.g. pre-op and post-op) and I feel that I can trust her judgment and planning. She is easy to talk with and has a very friendly and caring personality—it really was a pleasure to work with her. The registered nurse that she booked for us was a smart and excellent nurse who was very nice and comfortable to work with in our home. I especially appreciated that Jill planned for the potential of us needing our nurse to come for more days than scheduled at no worry or initial cost to us for that option. Jill is always available if any issues should arise and she frequently checks in to make sure that everything is going well. The entire experience was well above my expectations and it was great to have Jill and the nurse who worked with us taking such good care of the patient and us throughout the whole process. It is also a great comfort to know that I have Jill as a contact now should we ever need nursing care again.

Jill is fantastic! I needed a nurse last minute to meet me at the doctor’s office and escort me home from a cosmetic surgery procedure and provide care afterwards and she came to the rescue. She took extra care to match me with a nurse that I would get along with and she was great. I’m so grateful that Jill arranged everything perfectly for me with such short notice. As a first time plastic surgery patient she gave me the guidance I needed and answered all of my post-surgery questions. I needed to arrange for a private nurse to help me administer intramuscular injections while on a visit to New York City so that I wouldn’t have to miss an important event for a time-sensitive medication. Jill quickly reassured me she could find a nurse to do the job, and put all my concerns at ease. The nurse that was arranged for me was kind, patient, and professional. Going with Jill Tucker Nursing Services was the best decision I could’ve gone with – last week I realized I needed some assistance after a procedure and everyone I knew wouldn’t be in town. After frantic Google searches I figured it was for sure too late to contact Jill’s service because it was so last minute (three or four days out) but thankfully she was able to provide me a nurse! Jill was so attentive, caring, and detailed in explaining everything. She called me many times throughout the week, before the surgery and after, and answered all the (many) questions I had. I felt so at ease and in good hands after speaking with her, she has the most kindhearted demeanor and she is just so knowledgeable! The nurse Jill provided was amazing, she picked me up right after the procedure, helped me with getting food, figuring out medicine, getting around. She was so friendly and lovely to talk to, the two days immediately post-op were a breeze in large part because of her! Anything I needed help with, she knew what to do immediately. I highly recommend Jill’s service, I was extremely impressed and will be booking it in the future.

I live outside of NYC but come into the city often for work, and needed a nurse to help with IVF injections whenever I was in town. It was such a relief to find Jill. She and her team are extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also manage to be warm and caring and invested in your comfort and wellbeing – it really feels like being taken care of by family. Jill is always reachable and immediately responsive, and she ensured that I had the same nurse whenever possible for continuity. The nurse was lovely, professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and always went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable. They were both very flexible about meeting me wherever I had to be in the city on a given visit, which removed a ton of stress. I just can’t say enough good things about Jill and this service – I would hire them for anything and trust them with anything.

Based on my needs, Jill paired me with an absolutely capable and delightful nurse who stayed with me overnight and made sure I had everything I needed before she departed. Afterward, Jill checked in with me to make sure I was doing well. She not only handled logistics perfectly, but she also provided precisely the right amount of warmth to put me at ease.
